What should I use for MY student ID number?

If a student renting or purchasing books you MUST sign in with a CatCard # and register using your Davidson College issued email address
If you are a parent, alumni, guest, or otherwise you should use your phone #

What is the status of my order?

Sign in to your account so you can see a list of all your orders

Order Status Codes:

New - An order that has not yet been viewed and we have not yet taken any action taken on it.

In-Process - The order has been viewed and we have begun processing it.

Backordered - Item(s) are considered backordered when we have ordered them from our vendors, and we are waiting to receive them.

Fulfilled - All the item(s) have been shipped out or are ready for pick-up at the bookstore.

Cancelled - The item(s) have been cancelled and requires no further action.

What does Textbook Condition Preference mean?

During checkout you can indicate whether we can substitute Used for New or New for Used if your preference is not available.

If you elect to substitute and we don't have your first choice we will automatically provide you with that same title in the condition we do have in-stock. Please note: when a textbook condition substitution occurs there is a change to the final total price of the order. If you elect not to substitute the item will be removed from your order.

What's an ISBN?

ISBN stands for International Standard Book Number. You can find the ISBN on the back cover of the book near the bar code, or on the copyright page of the book.

Availability of Merchandise

Our goal is to provide you with all the products and services that have been made available through the website. On rare occasions, some items and services may not be available at the time of purchase. If this happens, we will make every reasonable effort to provide you with the item or service requested.

Shipping Stickers

We charge $3.00 - $5.00 depending on the size and we ship USPS.

Shipping Charges

Base UPS Ground shipping charges are below cost for residential delivery in most regions. Shipping of small items, like cards, bumper stickers, patches, and otherwise will be shipped using a prepaid USPS Priority Mail envelope at a lower cost. This will be recalculated and disclosed in the shipping confirmation email received AFTER the order confirmation email. Orders shipped ON CAMPUS incur NO SHIPPING CHARGES.
